The SustainSahel project is offering a PhD scholarship: The landscape modelling group in Work package 7 are looking for a motivated PhD student with skills in programming and some experience in modelling. We plan to run model simulations for one of the project sites to explore options of improved plant-animal systems suggested by the local stakeholders. To this end we use our landscape model LUCIA (land use change impact assessment tool: lucia.uni-hohenheim.de).
If you are interested please contact Work package 7's co-leader: Carsten Marohn as soon as possible, so that we can set up a proposal to the funding organisation (Water People Agriculture) until end of October.
